Christie Black is an actress and model from Newport News, Virginia. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and spent her childhood in Europe.
Both of her parents served in the United States Air Force. She has one younger brother.
Christie began acting in local productions and commercials at an early age. She began modeling in Milan when she was 10 years old while living in Italy.
In High School she ran track and field, played basketball, and was a thespian. During her sophomore year in high school she set a National Record along with her teammates during their National Championship win in the 55-M Shuttle Hurdle Relay. Upon graduating high school Christie accepted a Track and Field Scholarship to North Carolina State University. She competed in the heptathlon and pentathlon.
She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University where she was involved in Student Government and Directing Student Events.
Christie represented the state of Virginia as Miss Virginia United States 2009 and Miss Black Virginia USA 2011.
Her hobbies include traveling, learning about different cultures, exploring forms of art, and working with children..
